Blockout curtains typically block out more heat than blinds when curtains are installed into pelmets or dropped ceilings, and curtain drapes are installed past the window opening on all four sides. This prevents heat from entering the room and cool air from escaping out the window because curtains can cover a larger surface area, not just the window opening.
S-fold curtains offer a modern and elegant look, with a smooth gliding operation and an even fabric fall that provides a clean and structured appearance.
Of course! You can mix and match up to 24 different fabric and material samples. Simply place your order here.
You can absolutely layer sheer curtains with blockout curtains or other options. Depending on your windows and requirements you can choose:
During the day, sheer curtains allow you to see outside while also blocking people outside from looking in.
This is because with sheer curtains you can only see from the darker side into the brighter side. This does mean that if it’s night time and the lights are on inside then it’s possible to see inside, so if your curtains are in a room that faces onto a street or public areas, we recommend pairing with a blockout roller blind or a luxurious double curtain which pairs a sheer curtain and blockout curtain.
All our curtains can make the room look bigger. Floor-to-ceiling curtains create a sense of scale, with long lines from the folds in the material drawing the eye yup. This is especially noticeable with curtains that have an S Fold as the fabric maintains a straight line all the way from floor to track. Sheer curtains are especially good at creating the illusion of more space because they allow plenty of natural light in.
We offer sheer curtains to suit any space, with our Designer Curtains, Curved Curtains and Box and Bay Curtains you can achieve a grand look for a great price.
You'll need some silicon spray for this one.
Open your curtains all the way, then apply a thin layer of silicon spray onto the tracks, especially where the pendants slide across. Take care not to spray your curtain fabric.
This can happen from time to time, and it's nothing to worry about.
If you just put up your new curtains, let them settle. With time the creases will just fall out, and warm weather helps too. Remember not to iron or steam them as it might damage the fabric.
If your curtains have lost their shape, you can easily refresh the S-Folds. Start by drawing your curtains open, then run your fingers from the top down to the bottom, guiding the fabric back into the neat S-folds created by the curtain heading. For best results, leave the curtains open for a couple of days so the fabric can relax and naturally fall back into place.

A damp cloth will do the job nicely. Just make sure to dab gently rather than rub hard, especially if you have blockout blinds.
